You see, Bio parents and foster/adoptive parents have a bad reputation with each other. Bio parents and foster parents (in terms of foster care) have this way of sometimes thinking ill about one another. I mean, in all honesty, even bio mom told me one time the word ‘foster mom’ “Left a bad taste in her mouth.” Let me tell you, I’ve heard horror story upon horror story countless times, and sometimes they’re true, but ours is not one of them.
children but bio parents as well (if that be the case, sometimes it isn’t) . You’re to work side by side caseworkers and other people who represent your children as they confront some of the hardest moments in their young lives. You continuously fight for those who sometimes don’t have a voice for their own. And most importantly, you show love unconditionally to a child that is put in your life for that purpose in time.
I always like to say that I may not have all the luxuries and may not have all the wealth in this world, but God has always provided me everything that I need to live and serve Him. If that’s all I ever have, then that’s enough for me. Everything else is just a bonus that I don’t deserve but was mercifully given.
