Blessed because our needs were supplied. Disclosure: This Blog contains affiliate links.

If you didn’t already know, I’m a Foster Mom. Check out my pervious blog to hear more about it.
We have been Fostering our daughters for well over a year now, and it has been the biggest blessing we have ever experienced in our lives.
Adoption
We are now in the process of adopting our little ones and wow. It has been the most lengthy process we haver ever experienced. Not only that, but we have made plenty of expenses because of it.
We aren’t the richest people in the world but we have never lacked anything. The Lord has and always will provide our needs.

Blessed
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. ” Phillippians 4:19
Let’s talk about this verse for a second.
It say’s “and my God will supply every need of yours…”
Now, let’s stop and think. Every need? Yes! Every need! We serve a mighty and awesome God. He has never failed me, nor my family.
I always like to say that I may not have all the luxuries and may not have all the wealth in this world, but God has always provided me everything that I need to live and serve Him. If that’s all I ever have, then that’s enough for me. Everything else is just a bonus that I don’t deserve but was mercifully given.
Blessed in His Service
But, in my few years of serving the Lord, I have seen countless miracles and blessings poured upon my life. But this past blessing was beyond belief. Now, if you thought that me becoming a mother after battling 7 plus years of infertility was big, then this blessing will be just like it in your eyes as it is in mine.
The Blessing
With that said, this past week I received a phone call from a special person. She simply asked us how we were doing and how our adoption was going. Literally within two minutes, she told us she was going to bring us a check to help supply the needs our of adoption. What! Guys, lawyers are expensive and this process has made us pay a good chunk of money. For someone who, in all honesty, really doesn’t know us, to just walk up to my house and hand me a check, all you can think of is “that was all God.”
The verse literally says that God will supple all our needs according to His riches in Glory. and that is so true. You may not have everything you want materialistically but God knows what you need at the right time and will provide according to His purpose.
What a Mighty God
We serve a mighty God who will not only do this but more. We serve a God who gives money to people when they least expect it. Take us for example! We serve a powerful God who heals the weak and brings sight to the blind. We serve a loving and merciful God who will literally give anything just to have us by His side. He literally gave us His Son just to give us eternal life!

Have you ever been blessed and know that it was only God who could do such a thing? Do you know Jesus as your personal Savior? If not, I invite you to search for Him and accept Him into your heart. He has always been there for me. He’s never failed me and has never forsaken me. And my God has always supplied all my needs.
